I’m G. A. Shepard, an aspiring sci‑fi novelist & imaginative children’s author. I’m also a seasoned network engineer with more than a decade of experience designing, deploying, and consulting on robust IT infrastructures.

My passion for storytelling fuels two parallel literary journeys:

“Echoes from Earth” (In-Progress) – An adult hard science fiction novel that follows a five member crew of the Erebus 2 mission on their journey to the Aetheris Gateway Low‑Earth‑Orbit station. There, they finalize the critical systems needed for deep space exploration. Over a six‑month deployment, the crew validates, tests, and fully integrates these systems, preparing them for sustained operations beyond Earth.

“Eddie the Astro Scout” (In-Progress) – A series of children’s books that follow Eddie, a curious young explorer who travels the cosmos, discovering new planets and scientific wonders. These stories aim to inspire curiosity and a love for STEM in the next generation.
